Krissy Giffin

Krissy Giffin (niibiwa miigwan kwe ndiginikoz) has been working in the community outreach capacity with the Sault Tribe and various other service organizations for over 5 years. Krissy is grandmother, mother, and a Sault Tribe member. 

Born and raised in the Mount Pleasant area, Krissy has first-hand experience understanding the unique challenges facing our tribal communities regarding the healing and empowerment of Indigenous peoples. She strives to provide information, support, and opportunities for our people to heal and grow using cultural connection as the tool.
