Family Violence Prevention Month

Family Violence does not discriminate.  There is no such thing as a "normal" family. Dysfunction comes in many forms and can significantly affect children's physical and emotional health.  Check out some parenting styles in the "emotionally damaging" category.

One form of abuse that is not typically discussed and is severely underreported is Child-to-Parent Violence.  

Violence against the family pet is also considered Family Violence.  If you feel your pet is being abused by a member of your family-tell someone.  If your pet has an alternative place to go that may be best to prevent future abuse and harm to the innocent animal.
